I agree with you. Those are my thoughts.
Ok alright, I think we need another big on our 2016-17 roster to go along with Ernsthausen and Vollbrecht.

We are recucruiting a lots of guards. Your thoughts? Thought one: We haven't been mentioned with any JUCO PF recruits to go along with Custer. I'm going to take that as a sign that Steven Davis is coming back. Thought two: we aren't recruiting a lot of guards. We are recruiting a lot of PGs. Coach already brought in the Illinois PG transfer and still wants to add a second PG in this class. That leads me to believe he doesn't see Mark Hughes as his type of PG. We may see him at SG moving forward. No inside info there, just a guess after seeing how SDSU ran their offense vs how we ran ours last season. Thought three: Thought 2 might be a bunch of crap and Coach Nagy wants to add another big in this class but knows there isn't much left out there worth signing and is just using the last scholarship on best available player. After we sign our last recruit it would be nice if the DDN ask him some questions about our roster going into next year but we all know how lazy the DDN is. They will most likely just reprint the press release from Wright State.

I know that everyone sees a hole in the PF & C spots, but truly, the biggest lack of depth appears to be at the PG spot. With only a 5th year SR transfer there presently, I can see why coach Nagy is looking for another PG.

I wonder if there are any 5th year big men worth a look? We really could use some inside help this year. Plus, it would give the coach a year to get the full plan in gear. Also, anyone know the status of AJ Harris? Has he made a decision yet? I have heard some say he is not all he was once thought to be. Opti Any fifth year senior big worth adding is already off the board or is being recruited by BCS schools so we have no chance at signing them. AJ Harris either eliminated us or we eliminated him weeks ago. He no longer lists us as one of his schools of interest.

I for one am willing to trust coach Nagy to do what is best for the team. I'm looking forward to watching the team he puts together and the offense and defense he plays.

Proctor had a pretty good FR season on a good Iona team. It appears that Iona has picked up a couple of 5th year transfer guards which may have left him questioning his role with the team.

He played major minutes on a heavily senior laden team. He would have been the only returning player next year with any real experience. He was their version of what Benzinger was for us this year.

Proctor committed to High Point. Losing recruiting battles to High Point? Somethings never change no matter how much you wish for them.
