I would have predicted us ahead of Butler.

I have a hard time believing Milwaukee will finish 8th.

My take on it:
1.UWGB 2.Loyola 3.WSU 4.UWM 5.YSU 6.Butler 7.UIC 8.Detroit 9.CSU
Some comments on that:
I pick Green Bay to win because its my team and because I dont see Loyola having what it takes to win it all
WSU is my upset pick. IMO they have the talent to beat every team and if the new coach puts things together quickly they might surprise everyone
I dont see UWM go all the way to the bottom. They will be a very young but very talented team. They will win some big games and also lose some easy ones.
YSU will be better than any other year. They have almost everyone back and their new coach has them poised for a run. They might even do better and break the top three
Butler is always a dangerous team and with the talent and experience they have they will end up mid of the pack
Detroit is a team that on paper has some very good talent but they have serious chemistry issues. IMO Cotton is the problem. Till they get rid of him and his style of play they will be a bellow average team in the Horizon. I think Detroit will be the negative surprise this year in the league.
UIC has some good talent coming back but they need a leader. Someone to take over when the hard times come. I dont see anyone in that roster doing that
Cleveland state will be by far the worst team.

1. Loyola-- they have the best talent and are well coached.
2. Green Bay--their talent is as good as Loyola, but their coach isn't.
3-8. Illinois-Chicago, Detroit, Butler, Wright State, Youngstown State, and Milwaukee---I can see any of these teams finishing as high as 3rd and as low as 8th. UIC has good talent, but they are poorly coached and they play very unmotivated basketball at times. Detroit has very little depth in the paint and 2 players they are counting on as impact players are coming off of major injuries. Butler has no inside game since Polk graduated. WSU has a new coach and very little depth coming off the bench. YSU was much better last year under their new coach, but they still haven't added a legit post player. Milwaukee replaced 2/3 of their team from last year.
9. Cleveland State-- they may not win a game in the HL this year.

We might struggle this year, but we should still be the best HL team in Ohio.
