It's pretty amazing to see which teams are around Wright State in RPI standing:
80 Kent St. 18-9 81 St. Joseph's 16-11 82 Santa Clara 19-8 83 South Carolina 84 Wright St. 21-9 85 LSU 15-13 86 Pennsylvania 18-8 87 Hawaii 16-12 88 Dayton 16-11 89 Fresno St. 20-8 90 Connecticut 17-10

Something else that stood out while looking at RPI--Loyola dropped out of the top 100 after losing to UIC. This really hurts WSU if we get into the Dance. We need Loyola to win a game or 2 to get back into the top 100.
The selection committee looks at RPI, record vs top 100 in the RPI, conference record, how you did in your last 10 games, and a few other things I can't remember off the top of my head.
Our record over the last 10 games and conference record looks good. Our RPI isn't anything to brag about when it comes to seeding, but it isn't horrible either. Our biggest deficiency is record vs top 100. If Loyola gets back into the top 100, we will be 3-3 which is decent (and we will be 4-3 if we beat Butler in the finals). If they don't get back in the top 100, we are 1-3, with 3 blowout loses to Bradley, LSU, and Butler.

That is a great point BigD! Loyola losing might cause us a seed if we make the NCAA? They might have also cost themselves an NIT at large bid? I think it would have been a long shot but now it definitely won't happen.
