Why the hell is Finke shooting a 25 ft 3. I'm sorry but this dumpster fire of a year directly reflects Nagy's stubborn ass ways. But at least the birds are chirping.... Another Heartbreaker at the end.

What’s the story on Sisley? Sisley is the new James Mann

Is Sisley injured or in Nagy's doghouse?

A 20 point lead at the half kind of scares me. Too many times they come out and play flat in second half. Hope they come out and play like they are 20 points down. And every team we play knows they are never out of it because Nagy will NOT EVER call a timeout to stop a run so they alway will have a couple opportunities to get back into a game against a Nagy coached team.

Interesting that Welage never played. Is he injured?

I agree 100%! My hope is that coach Nagy continues to use a 9 man rotation all season since it appears he has the players this year to do it.
I also think Sisley minutes will continue to creep up as he gains Nagy's trust defensively.
He seemed to play a bit more with two bigs on the floor last night so I'm looking for that trend continues as well.

BigD & Wolf both mentioned who they would like to see starting and playing in the Louisville thread ( I agreed with thier suggestions) so I wanted to start a separate thread.
Who I'd like to see start.
Brandon Noel 6-8 230 lbs AJ Braun 6-9 235 lbs Tim Finke 6-6 215 lbs Amari Davis 6-2 175 lbs Trey Calvin 6-0 175 lbs
Subs
Blake Sisley 6-9 230 lbs Keaton Norris 5-10 Alex Huibregtse 6-3 195 lbs Andrew Welage 6-6 180 lbs
For starters I think Noel is athletic enough to defend smaller PF in the Horizon League and what a mismatch we would have on the offensive end.
Finke would go to his natural small forward/wing position and not be asked to defend post players which I believe wears him down physically and thus affect his offensive output. He seems to leave a ton of shots short ( hits the front of the rim) so I wonder if a fresher Finke starts becoming more reliable on offense?
I also think we're a better rebounding team with this taller lineup.
Like BigD mentioned I'd rotate Sisley with Noel & Braun and always play big then rotate the 3 guards in at the point, two guard, and wing.
What are your thoughts?

Looking through the box score I saw our bench outscored Louisville 34 - 7!

Braun getting mugged and undressed on the inside, no call. So we are not going to get any calls. We better start hitting some outside shots or it will be a long second half. Finke should not be playing the 4. He is getting out manned/muscled on the inside on defense and is too tired to shoot on offense. He should be at the 3, and our 3 big men should be rotating on the 2 inside positions. I agree. I’d like to see Braun and Noel in the starting lineup with Finke at the 3 and Calvin and Davis at the 1 and 2. Blake should be getting major minutes backing up Braun and Noel. We actually have 3 really good bigs. Play them Agree 100%! I think coach Nagy sees Cole Gentry when he looks at keaton Norris when fact he's closer to Joe Bills at this stage of his career. I agree that Noel, Braun & Sisly should be rotating at the 4 and 5 positions.

Brandon Noel's throw down to get us within 1 was spectacular!

My dad is at the game and sees Basile and Finke. No sign of Neff or young Nagy so far. This is as of 6:15. It's Braun, Voss and Neff.
