Three very tough road games for the HL this Tuesday. I'd take two out three. Our best shot seems to be at St. Louis & Bradley. It would not surprise if we get swept since they are all on the road.

Hello all,
I am new this board but not new to boards about basketball. Just like to say off the back. Wright state is doing awesome this year even though they had some tough losses.
Panthers 5-0 BABY.
Can not wait to play Wright. Should be a good game!
Does anybody know whats up with UIC this year, they almost beat GT and then they lose to Bowling Green.
Of course they loss to the panthers. The game was close but the Panthers out ran UIC in the last two min which gave us our win.
It was a good time at the PAV we only brought two buses but we out cheered a whole stadium of 6000.

Panther man, no doubt that the Panthers are carrying the HL. I would like to think that early my Raiders are a positive in the HL as well. We have two tough games coming up with Miami of Ohio and Akron out of the MAC. They are both at home so we have a chance.
I will be rooting for you guys Tues versus St. Louis.

Thanks, were really going to need it. Its hard to win at St. Louis. Plus this is our first game with out the Panther Fans cheering for our guys.
however, im a little worried were going to spend too much time thinking about Valpo this sat.

Dunzz, why would you over look St. L. because you are looking ahead to Valpo. St. L. has to be the bigger game, right?

dunzz, congrats on a great start for your team, but I seriously doubt the panthers are going to look past St. Louis. With their next five games on the road against some very good talent, and each game being a little bigger, I doubt they will overlook anybody. The reason being, each game is not one the panthers can just show up for and win, if one of these teams was not so well known and playing well, then that might be a trap game, but each of these are big time games so the panthers will be ready. If not, Pearl is not doing his job, and the players need to get their egos in check. I seriously doubt that is the case. Good luck until we meet later in the season.

I guess i said it because around campus people are more excited for the Valpo game because we have a buss going to chicago.
I wasnt speaking for pearl, its just that i guess coming from Milwaukee, st louis does not have that big a name to us. Valpo is talked about more around our boards and other boards. Most of this comes from the fact that Valpo has played some big teams. Duke of course to mention and upcoming Penn State. Teams like this may pose a good rpi.
I was not trying to make the statement that Valpo is so good that St Louis is not worth the panthers consideration. If i had to say it, which i will, i would say valpo is better than st. louis this year.
I always get these feelings when i go against a team ive never really seen. Which is my fault, but its hard to keep track of all mid major programs. But the feeling is i dont want our team to look to far ahead.
Our last couple of games have made me hold my breath, Air Force and UIC specifically. These games are so important, and both the teams played great, and we didnt start to controll the game untill the last 2 minutes.
So that was my long winded clarification about what i ment.

Hey bballraider, thanks for the updates. The Panthers of UWM just keep rolling. Nice road win at St. Louis. I was hoping that Butler would win at Bradley. Green Bay seemingly gave Wisconsin a good game but in the end the HL went 1-2 tonight.
Good to see Toledo get a win. I'd love to see them get on a roll and win the MAC, it can only help our RPI.
