We are officially into Horizon League play

Here are Monday's HL games:

01/03/2005 UIC @ Youngstown State
01/03/2005 Cleveland State @ Loyola
01/03/2005 UW-Milwaukee @ Detroit
01/03/2005 Wright State @ UW-Green Bay

To me the game to watch is UWM @ Detroit. Ever since Cotton, the Michigan St. tranfer, became eligible the Titan's have been playing great.

If we win at G-B it probably would be considered and upset since it is at G-B. I will be curious as to what the line is on our game.

If UIC loses at YSU then I will have lost all confidence in them as far as contending for one of the top 3 spots in the HL.

If I had to pick the order of finish in the HL now it would be the following.

1. UWM
2. UW-GB
3. WSU
4. Detroit
5. Butler
6. UIC
7. Loyola
8. CSU
9. YSU

I was tempted to put Detroit at 3 and us at 4 because Cotton has made a big impact since his arrival but I decided to be a homer and go with WSU.

A week or two ago I would have had Butler in the top 3 but they have fallen on hard times lately.

Let's face it, the HL is terrible this year. I hope we can take advantage of it and finish in the top 2 or 3.
