• While we're on UD, how about 2005 being the year the Flyers get back to playing long-standing rival Miami and working out an annual game with crosstown Wright State? If Cincinnati and Xavier can make it work, so should UD. Enough of the Coppin States and Prairie Views. • At Wright State, one thing I want to see is sophomore point guard DaShaun Wood any time he touches the ball. And the Raiders' freshmen have promise, too, especially Everett Spencer and 6-foot-8 Fort Loramie product Jordan Pleiman. • The best thing to happen at Wright State, though, would be for the NCAA to clear up the situation involving head coach Paul Biancardi and his days as an assistant coach at Ohio State. His Buckeyes boss, Jim O'Brien, was fired for a financial violation with a recruit. Other charges have come up from a woman who is looking for monetary gain through the courts. Biancardi said he has done no wrong, and you hope that's the case for the sake of WSU and him. www.daytondailynews.com/sports/content/sports/daily/0101arch.html

I would have to agree with TA on all 3 accounts.
1. UD should be playing Miami. I was shocked when they dropped them. Yes, I would like us to play them as well but I don't see UD risking their status in town to play us. Lets be honest, UD is king in town now and if they play us, especially at the Nut House, their is a good chance we beat them and then their perception locally changes and if our program keeps improving we will be seen as equals to UD. This is the last thing UD wants.
2. I also agree that Dashaun Wood is exciting to watch and I also agree that Plieman & Spencer are going to be solid players for us over the next 3 years. Personally I think Jordan should be playing at least 20 minutes per game.
3. I really want this OSU/PB situation to be resolved one way or the other. I want it behind the program ASAP!
