I'm sure it has more to do with proximity and location being closer to home..But NH is one of the bottom feeders in a bottom feeding conference. they only won 9 games last year..Oh well. As I've said before, good luck.

Archdeacon wrote about Jim Brown's ouster at Northmont. Sorry I'm not smart enough to link it but, hope everyone that knows Jim will give it a read. Turns out that I saw him coach his last high school game. I think it is a shame and I'll let you decide for yourselves what you think of how it went down.

Noticed that Jim Brown is scheduled to be on with Chick Ludwig today ( 5:05 WONE )...Northmont principal is on at 5:40.

I did most of my fussing about the way Jim Brown was treated by responding on-line to Archdeacon's article a few times. Anyway, the principal tried to justify it on Chick's show. I thought it made it worse and told Chick ( via email ) that I wish Coach Brown was given the last few minutes because I thought the principal was all over the place with reasons and excuses. Talked to Billy briefly at Saturday's WSU baseball game...he said he'd be back after a quick trip to his office but, I missed seeing him after that ( but, I'm glad he stuck up for Brown too ). I agree that the letter was the worst part of the story but, the principal tried to pass the buck on that, also.
