Bringing this thread back because now that the season is over the team won't be wearing Gordie's patch on their uniforms anymore.
Going to the home opener this year was quite memorable. Unveiling the 2022 title banner followed by the tribute to Gordie and our current announcer starting the game with the Gordie's well-known introduction ending with the line "and another exciting night of Raider Roundball!" really hit me in the feels.
Never posted after the game but this experience stuck with me.

Not a great look for former WSU women's head coach Katrina Merriweather's Memphis Tigers:

Congrats to Malachi...knew he was special when i saw him play his Freshman year at WSU and he knew it...why he bolted primarily...Nagy system the other. If by "Nagy's system" you mean that Smith didn't want to play team basketball, then yeah, you are right. That is why he left. He wanted to be the man and knew he was never going to get the number of shots per game he got by going to Chattanooga, if he stayed at Wright State. He was on a Wright State team that had 5 other guys that ended up scoring more than 1000 points in their college careers (Love, Basile, Wampler, Gentry, and Skyelar Potter). Two other guys on that team finished their careers close to making the 1000 point club too: Jaylon Hall (960) and Mark Hughes (863). Hell, he might have even been intimidated by the recruiting class coming in that he would have to compete against for playing time if he would have stayed for his sophomore year. Tanner Holden (1578 points) and Trey Calvin (1532 points) ended up being pretty damn good for us.

Not a great look for former WSU women's head coach Katrina Merriweather's Memphis Tigers: Doesn’t seem to be hurting her image. Looks like she is the front runner to land the open UC job.

Former Raider @aj_paterson started for Grenada in their match v USA tonight. Grenada lost 7-0. It was a historic game as Team USA scored seven goals in a match played outside the United States for the first time in program history.

Former RaiderGang coach Greg Lovelady addresses allegations of his players using altered bats. I am not sure why Coach Lovelady would do the interview if he was not going to take responsibility for the problem. He implied that altering bats was out of his control.
