I know many people don't care, but I got curious about how Paul Darkwa was doing this year so I Googled him. He is a starter for D2 Columbus State in Georgia. Through 9 games, he is averaging 9 points and 6 rebounds a game.

I think it was pretty much a mutual decision on both parties. Darkwa didn't really want to be here and I think the staff was happy to move on without him.

The off-the-court troubles with the law and his lack of defensive capabilities didn't help either.

Ed Schilling's Park Tudor HS team is returning to the IN state championship game on Saturday. Last year in his first year as coach he took them to the state championship where they lost.

After losing in the 2A IN State Championship game last year Park Tudor HS wins the state championship over Bishop Noll HS 43-42. In the post game interview he talked about his team being champions in the class room, as well as on the court. That will sound familiar to Raider fans.

Dashaun Wood wins offensive player of the year in Germany:

There was no surprise as to who would get best offensive player of the year as DaShaun Wood (185-G-85, college: Wright St.) dominated this category getting 123 points. Wood is leading the beko BBL in scoring and there was no player that could challenge him as Artland Dragon guard Tyrese Rice (185-G-87, agency: Priority Sports, college: Boston Coll.) came in second place with 34 votes. This is the biggest lead between the first and second player in the history of the beko BBL. Bamberg forward Predrag Suput (200-F-77, agency: Beo Basket) came in third place with 25 points. Last years winner Julius Jenkins (187-G-81, agency: Pro One Sports, college: Georgia Southern) landed in ninth place.
