Tatham was injured in the Loyola/CSU pregame warmups and may not be ready for the WSU game.

I predict WSU wins this 66-76.
WSU is better in every statistical category except free throw shooting, so unless we get into foul trouble and this games turns out to be a free throw shooting contest, (which I doubt since the game is at home). Wright State should win this easily. If Tatham doesn't play for CSU then the score will be even more lopsided (+ another 6 pts).
There are two CSU players that we have to keep an eye on, both are capable of having a monster game They are Niakate and Westley. I believe Niakate only has a few more games left to be play in his CSU career. On Jan 15th his eligiblity expires. So he probably wants to go out in a blaze of glory, but I am not sure how much the coach is wanting to play him because he won't be around much longer and maybe Garland wants to keep a consistent line up. Westley can be dominant on the boards so we will have to make sure to block him out.
Even if these two guys have a good (not unbelievably good) game, the rest of their team still shouldn't pose much of a threat to beat us. The unknown player on CSU is their freshman Gansey, I hear he has a good outside shot, but has not been used much up to this point in the season. Raheem Moss the BGSU tranfer that played with Spencer at Brookhaven is also a decent player but has not been as big a factor as most anticipated when he transferred. CSU is a decent outside shooting so we will need to stay up on their outside shooters, but our size and skill should still be no match for CSU to be able to compete with us on the road.

I assume Tatum is healthy and will play for Cleveland State, is this correct?
bballraider, you mentioned that Niakate is out of eligibility Jan. 15th, does anyone know if Niakate is no longer playing for the Vikings?
So, CSU gains Tatum (he didn't play against us the first game) but loses Niakate?
We need to keep Westley and Moss in check. Moss scored 21 points Thursday against Butler and we all know how good Westley can be. It will be essentially to control the boards and make our free throws.
This might be a game where Jordan and Zach play significant minutes together because Westley is a shot blocker so by having two guys in the post who can score it limits what Westley can do defensively. If he guards Zach, fine, we'll just work the ball into Jordan, if Westley is guarding Jordan, fine, well just reverse the ball and work it into Zach down in the post.
This is strictly a "gut feeling" but I think Zakee is going to have a great game. Call it a hunch.

2 things about CSU
5-1 at home only loss coming to MAC powerhouse Kent State and CSU had a 19 point second half lead
2-0 overall when no one on injured list - barring anymore shoot around disasters (Tatham) we will be healthy for 3rd game tomorrow

Wow, I didn't realize I hit the point spread on the head with Tatham out that first game. WSU won 73-57. As much as CSU had improved, so has WSU since that first game, and I still think we match up very well with the Vikings, maybe better this time now that Plieman is becoming a force inside, unless we just do not show up like at Loyola, we should win this game, although the point spread will be much closer I'd say 6 pts this time.

Whether we "should" win this game or not, CSU brings up a good point on how well they have played at home. Games like this always worry me.

CSU is 5-1 at home, but they lost to the only good team they played. 2 wins came against D2 or NAIA schools. 1 win was against Norfolk St (RPI 249). 1 win was against Butler (RPI 292). Their final win was against YSU (RPI 329).
If we play like we have the last few games, we should win on saturday. If we come out flat like we did at Loyola, we will probably lose. You have to bring your "A" game every game or you can lose. I think our guys are seeing how close they are to challenging for a league championship and are going to come ready to play.
Go Raiders!
