I will say that WSU has done a pretty decent job getting us hyped around campus for this game. I've talked to some fellow students who have never been to a game before, but are coming on Friday. Good stuff Good news. We need to use this black out promotion to draw a good crowd and then put a good product on the floor Friday night to get people interested and wanting to come back. Having Butler in house for the next game should help bring those fans back on Sunday as well. Could be a big weekend towards rebuilding our fan base /attendance for the rest of the year.

Hmm. Glad I decided to sleep thru that, if only because the female newscaster was oozing with...what's the word...cheesey-ness?
Billy Donlon looking and sounding super professional per usual. Love that man. I didn't expect them to ask him straight up why more people don't support Raider Basketball, though. That sort of surprised me. Cool little bit though

they havecovered all the rowdy statues around campus and put a little board over them that says BLACK OUT Friday..........very creative! they are big enough and have been in the same place long enough to catch your eye when you walk into the room to notice something is not right or different. Props to the AD they are truly trying to come up with new and creative stuff! Where are the rowdy statues at? I guess I don't get around campus enough. I want to see the black out rowdies!!

Coach Donlon seems to have it down. Good rapport with the team, administration, staff, and media.
It really can't get to Friday fast enough can it?

Coach Donlon gave a great speech today at the WSU House of Reps meeting for student organizations along with N'gai, Coop, Mpondo, and Troy. The more he speaks the more I love him. He oozes with passion for this university and he commands the attention of every person in the room. By the end of his speech everybody was hanging on every word he said. And he wasn't even really promoting the Valpo or Butler games, just WSU in general.

First time poster here. I follow college basketball pretty closely and was thinking about attending the game on Friday night. I like attending Mid-major games most of the time. I went online and found out that the tickets are $17 from the info I was able to find. Is that right? I have been to games at Miami, UD, EKU, WKU, and other similar places, and I can usually get a ticket for 10 or 12 dollars. Am I missing something?

You can get tickets in the family fun zone for $9, unless they sell out the zone.
