If Battle holds onto that rebound YSU doesn't score that last basket.

Mpondo has had how many shots rim in and out.
He can't even make his FT's

I really like Mpondo's hustle, but he needs to start making shots or just stop taking them.

Not to be so negative but does Johann really have a touch? He has made only 19 of 50 shots this year for a grand total of 49 points. Definitely not going to cut it!

Wow I did not realize how much Mpondo struggles from the field. He is missing point blank shots tonight. Hopefully he can pick it up the 2nd half.

Ugly half...not totally surprised.
We only have two dependable scoring threats. These young guys will develop their offensive scoring in time but this is what you will often get when you have so much inexperience on the floor at one time.

Thumbs up our asses on d & can't throw it in the ocean from the pier on offense...where is that team that was so solid lastg sunday? Vaughn and Pacher have been on the bench in foul trouble and Troy and Mpondo have decided to not make shots today. Troy is 1-6 and Mpondo is 1-7. Mpondo is at least rebounding, but Troy isn't doing crap out there.

He's just running the play that was called up. Actually, the play is set up so that everyone spreads the court to allow Evans to try to penetrate. It's up to Evans to decide to take a shot or kick it to a teammate. Considering he drove the lane into FOUR YSU players, he probably should have kicked it to a teammate.

I knew his production wasn't the greatest but after watching him miss shot after shot in the first half I looked at his season stats and combined that with his 1st half stats from tonight and that is where it stands. Definitely disappointing but like you said, hopefully he can turn it around.

First half thoughts, ugly game so far, which is probably just what YSU wants.
Mpondo needs to have his feet square before he can make a shot, if he is moving, he is not scoring well tonight. He's rebounding real well but he needs to start squaring up with the basket and using the glass or dunking the ball with authority.
Can't wait to see Duggins and Packer back on the floor. Foul trouble cost them some minutes in the first half. I expect coach to cut down on some of the substitutions in the second half to keep more scorers on the floor at the same time. I think we will start to get hot in the second half.
With Duggins and Evans on the floor we seem to be able to get one of them free to the basket.
Vest is a good ball handler with size, he needs to look to drive more with his athleticism, he should at least get to the line, but he needs to be aggressive. He's not looking for his shot like he was at the beginning of the year.

Stinky from the field only 9-31..............yea that's only 21% We only have 2 assist but 8 turnovers. It's hard to believe we are only down 4 points.

He has been off the last 2 and a half games. FYI..........Cleveland State 39 Detroit 32 at the half
