In the words of Jon Ramey "We were completely dominated"
Lossing to Loyola is bad enough but to be completely dominated is what makes this one hard to swallow. I felt like we needed to win on the road against Loyola, YSU, & CSU if we want to finish in the top 3 spots in the HL.
How in the world do you have 5 days to prepare for this game then go out and get spanked by one of the bottom feeders in the HL.
Our perimeter defense stunk (I'm being kind). Loyola was 8-17 from the 3's.
The Ramblers are 15-16 on FT and of course we stink, again.
Ramey felt that Loyola's center, Blair, completely shut down our inside game. Zach has 1 field goal for the entire game!
Jon Ramey also mentioned that Drew has yet to play a good game on the road. Interesting?
I'm bumming out.

Well in the immortal words from the movie "waterboy",
OH NO, WE SUCK AGAIN!
A game like this you have to just congratulate the other team and then forget about it. This was just one of those games when nothing goes right. Luckily this game only counts as just one of 16 in the league. Hopefully we do not have a week off again, as it cetainly seemed to hurt our momentum. A win in Milwaukee has now moved up on our list of things to do if we want to contend in this league for the title. I really thought we would win this game, but I knew this was a trap game, and it was going to be a lot tougher than most felt it should have been.
Well congrats to Loyola on playing a good game, and let's hope our rollercoaster is ready to go back up the rest of the season. On the bright side, we are still only one game out in the loss column, same as when we started the day. The bad news is we went from third place to tied for fourth with UIC.
