It looks like our FREE throws might cost us another game. I hope I'm wrong.

Graves hits his 2nd 3 of the half and Jon Ramey says "It's pretty simple, they (butler) have a couple of 3 point shooters but they continue to be left open"
Frustrating!

Hey Big D, my new strategy is to whine and complain on the board then have them go out and nail 8-10 FT's and tighten up on defense and get a road win.
I didn't think we would win. We were horrible at the line and according to Ramey we weren't defending the 3 real well mid way thru the 2nd half then, boom, we lock down on defense and hit 80% from the line. I'm thrilled about this win.
I was glad to see Zach have a strong game. It sounded like he was aggressive on the offensive end.
Once again in limited time Jordan has a strong game. 6 boards and 3 pts.
Drew has now put together back to back solid games on the road.
Ramey was raving about how good of a game Everrett had defensively. When he hit those 2 FT's at the end I about fell out of my sit.
Great, great win

A couple of things jump out at me. First, one of my keys to the game was that we had to shot at least 65% from the line and we ended up shooting exactly 65%. They call that dumb luck.
All 5 starters played 32+ minutes today. Jaron only played 9 minutes, interesting?
PB basically went with a 7 man rotation & that is counting Jaron only playing 9 minutes. Jordan played 17 minutes, I'd like to see him play 20-24 minutes a game because he is so effective when he is in the game.
Good to see balanced scoring again with 4 players in double figures.

How about Spencer leading us with 5 assist? Not a bad stat line: 5 pts, 5 assist, & 4 rbs. He still turns the ball over way to much but hopefully that will go down as the season wears on.
We killed Butler on the boards 37-21. We completely controlled the boards.
