Butler wins by 23, 70-47.
Licklighter decided to stop his mass substitutions and went with mainly just 7 players tonight, including leaving 7 ft Smalligan on the bench most of the night.

Butler's win tonight makes that CSU loss sting a little more, as we could of basically been playing for first place on Wenesday against Milwaukee.

I didn't think we were experienced enough at the beginning of the year to think we had a real shot at winning the HL this year. I was hoping for a top 3 finish. We have a great shot at finishing in second if we take care of business. UWGB plays almost all of their remaining HL games on the road, so I think we can overtake them. This should be an interesting month and 1/2 of basketball.
This sure beat the ES years. By this time of year, we would be looking towards next season because we would be out of the running already. We aren't the cream of the crop in the HL yet, but we are much more competitive than we have been in the past.

Way to go Butler. We are back in the hunt for one of the top 3 spots. We have 3 home games in a row so we have to take advantage of this opportunity. Can you believe G-B has been blown out at home by both Loyola & now Butler? And to think we Raider fans are frustrated with our inconsistent play.
I think 10 wins puts you in the top 3. Right now you have 6 teams thinking they can land 1 of those precious spots.
Wednesday's game with UWM is huge.
