The plot thickens. Do you think the NCAA is scared the major colleges will pull out of the NCAA and form their own league if they come out against all of them that cheated. Miller and Pitino are spilling their guts to keep from going to prison. They could care less about their employer’s loss and win records now.

Miller and Pitino are spilling their guts to keep from going to prison. They could care less about their employer’s loss and win records now. I think there's probably a large camp in the Power-5 that would want to pull out of the NCAA and start their own athletic association. That said, I think that urge will be tamped down by Trustees and board of regents. If this were just an NCAA investigation into the corruption and bribery it would be one thing...hell it wouldn't be a story 'cause the NCAA wouldn't investigate it. Remember, this isn't a NCAA investigation. It's a FBI investigation. Lots of money changed hands. Lots of it. In the only case to be dismissed so far the judge ruled (I'm paraphrasing) the agent charged didn't commit a crime because he didn't pass the $100K on to the recruit. I can guarantee you the man charged isn't off the hook 'cause the judge dismissed the FBI charge. Now the IRS is going to investigate this man and make his life hell. He didn't claim $100,000 in income. How many others are out there like him? How often? Jail time and major penalties are in the offing for many people from both the FBI and IRS. In a nutshell, if the FBI doesn't put these people behind bars the IRS will. The above didn't explain why the Power-5 won't leave. Here's why. They need the protection afforded the NCAA. They need to stick together as one big group--for now. If the FBI has info revealing other people in these universities knew of the bribery going on these schools risk losing Hundreds of Millions of dollars. Hundreds of millions. It dwarfs their men's basketball budget. Many of these schools are research schools and are in jeopardy of losing hundreds of millions in Federal Research Grants and aid if it is proven administrators outside of athletics knew of these illegal acts.

Just saw reoabout Archie Miller and the report. The monitored calls were after the player had signed and not before. The time table for this doesn’t match. The time of the calls have changed for the third time. This will probably negate this evidence. Also, no physic evidence of any money to player or family member.

Doc, there is only one media outlet reporting the erroneous timeline. All the other media/bloggers have called ESPN out on this. It's just another piss-poor showing by ESPN. Only the FBI knows the sequence of events....well, Sean and his ilk too, but he isn't squealing yet...
Also, did you see where Miles Bridges donated $40 to an undisclosed charity of his choosing so that he could remain eligible at Michigan State? He and his family are linked to the dirty agents under FBI investigation...Supposedly he was bought a dinner ($70) and his mother got $400 in cash. MSU investigated his case and in less than 24 hours MSU administrators cleared him. Now, remember, this is the same institution that let a sexual pervert prey on hundreds of young women on their campus for over a decade. They even took steps to hide his abuse of women from the proper authorities....
I would think going through that they would be cautious with a player exposed to a person under FBI investigation. But, I guess they think it's better to hang another B1G Banner in the barn and deal with the "vacating" issues later in time if the NCAA ever decides to investigate their shenanigans

Mrose, yes I have. If the information regarding the timeline is true it would only affect the case against Sean Miller. I do think there is a major problem. I don’t think anything much will happen with NCAA until next year at the soonest. Universities may become anxious to fire coaches possibly entangled in this dark web. But they may be open to legal action if that coach is exonerated. It will be interesting to see what criminal charges are applied and to whom.

If Justin doesn't decide to stream the portion with Mark Adams it might because it was long and, as interesting as it was, not sure how newsworthy you would find it.
