Looks like the weather is clearing. I'm heading up today. Hope to see a good number of Raider fans up there. Should be an exciting tournament. Go Raiders!

I had to look for it but there is an article in the Detroit Freepress about the tournament, but all they talk about is Detroit and Oakland

Women's results (Mar. 2)
Oakland clobbered a horrible UIC team, 80-46
Northern Kentucky bounced UDM right out of the gym, 76-61.

UWGB is up a dozen with 3:59 left. Not at all insurmountable. Hoping the Titans can tie it up and squeeze four or five overtimes out of this.

It's us vs. Green Bay tomorrow. The commentators kept saying both teams looked gassed at the end. UDM kept it close so the Phoenix had to keep their core on the floor down the stretch.

UWGB 93 UDM 81. UDM outscored Green Bay in the 2nd half 48-46.

Cleveland State just won a pretty darn good game against Youngstown. Those teams were fighting until the end when YSU missed a tip-in as time expired.
Of the two, I'd rather see the Vikings play NKU.

Game day is here! Hoping for a big WSU win vs Green Bay so we can rest our players in the second half and also a Cleveland State miracle. Let's go Raiders!

Of the two, I'd rather see the Vikings play NKU. Agree. CSU is better defensively and has better perimeter shooters. I don't expect them to beat NKU, but they should at least be able to compete. Stranger things have happened though.

Interesting fact from the DDN:
"MAKING MADNESS: Since Motor City Madness began in 2015 with the entire tournament being held at one site, the Nos. 1 and 2 seeds have yet to win a game, going 0-4."
So.. that's something I hadn't realized.

I also think that Oakland hasn't won a conference tournament game since joining the Horizon League and they've definitely contributed to poor showings by the higher seeds over the years.
