Just remember, the 06-07 team that had 23 wins did it against an all D I schedule. 2 of this year's wins came against non D I opponents who actually scheduled WSU as an exhibition game. |

CSU looked like a bunch of limp noodles to start the game against NKU, letting the Norse get off to a 11-0 lead. Halfway through the first half it was 21-6, but since then, the Vikings have roared back. They were only down 27-29 at one point and ended the half down by five.
Go Vikings! Let the Norse make some cash in the NIT!

NKU up 33-28 over Cleveland State at halftime. CSU was down double digits early but closed the gap. Garnett, Tate and Faulkner all with 2 first half fouls for NKU.
I don't expect CSU to win but this is much closer than the first game tonight.

Great game! Cleveland State has some nice Freshman in Applebee, and the big foreign kid who can shoot. This would be a disaster for the Horizon League for Northern Kentucky to lose though. Part of me would like to see #1 vs. #2 in the championship game, but it's a great thing about March.

Exciting game. I'd love to see Cleveland State win, just from the standpoint that it is tough to beat a team three times in one season.

Even if CSU doesn't win this, Tyree Applebee's deserves to be on the all tourney team. This is fun to watch!

Figured NKU would figure out some way to pull this out.
We've all been calling for NKU to have a bad conference loss. Not sure anyone saw it in their first league game.
