I assume that since UDM is ineligible for post-season play, they will not be allowed to participate in the HL Tournament. Is that correct?

for context, Detroit is only D1 team in the country ineligible for post season (for this reason) next year.

This is the stupidest projection. They have four open scholarships, lost the best player in the history of their program (D1 or D2), lost the best coach they’ve ever had, a coach who turned around and just stole there remaining big man with any considerable experience from last year in Chris Vogt, lost every single recruit they had coming in, they currently do not have an offer out to anyone that hasn’t since committed to another school (at least not that fans are aware of), they are replacing their point guard. Do y’all want me to keep going? It’s kind of fun, but I think I’ve made my point

everything you say is true, mre, but imo you are missing the key point of that projection. at least for now nku is considered by outsiders as the alpha dog of the horizon, the presumptive favorite to win the league. that should be very concerning to all of us. starting next year we need to change that perception. if we do not we are going to have another unhappy ending!!

ESPN always uses the previous season’s champ for mid major conferences in their preseason predictions. You guys all need to relax.

UC fans are not going to be happy with Brennan's recruiting so far. This guy wasn't even a decent back up in the HL.

You may be right but, I thought he was a college player that was still getting better.

In last night's GS Warriors vs Portland game, which GSW son in overtime, Alfonzo McKinnie from Green Bay started the game at small forward. He played 26 minutes, scored 12 points and had 2 rebounds to help GSW advance to the NBA Finals. I don't remember him at all. I googled him and he had an injury plagued college career but somehow managed to make all the way to the NBA. Dreams do come true for those who persevere.

Detroit and NKU still haven't announced a late signing period recruiting class. Both teams could be in a world of hurt next year.

He's a JUCO SG that only averaged 7.6 points last season. He didn't have any other scholarship offers. Detroit still has 4 open scholarships for next season.
