Good to see. We're still trailing UIC in the standings and can't afford to trip up to bottom of the barrel teams if we expect to win the league.

Except for Wright State, the HL consists of all bottom of the barrel teams.

Raiders picked up an 11-0 win over Cedarville, right before the three game road series at Milwaukee.

This Raider game today against Cedarville University was a tune-up game added to get some extra work in before heading to Milwaukee for the weekend series.

This is a monumental series this weekend. Milwaukee is right below us in the standings, and is surprisingly in the mix for the league race. While we're staring down a 3rd place team hot on our tail, we still trail UIC by a game, and they're playing a 3 game set against the lowly Grizzlies this weekend. If this weekend goes south, we could be in 3rd place staring up at a UIC team with a 2 to 4 game lead on us. Hopefully the Cedarville tune up has our boys ready to play.

The Raiders lose to Milwaukee 10-6 in game one. DH tomorrow starting at noon. UIC upset by Oakland 2-1 so the loss doesn't hurt quite as much. Still not used to seeing all these losses in the league.

Raiders took the lead late in the nightcap of the DH by Damon Dues's second grand slam of the day, but Milwaukee walks it off with a three-run Homer to win the game 7-6 and series 2-1.
UIC recently dropped two of three at home to Oakland, so the Flames still lead by a half game over the Raiders. Guess who's in town this upcoming weekend?

If our pitching was half as good as our offense, we'd be carving this league up. I dont watch enough of the games to sit here and recognize the problem, but teams are putting up some pretty crooked numbers against a pitching group that we all expected a lot more out of this season.
