Raiders whip UIC 11-3! Perhaps Lee can provide details. I wasn't there today, but from the box score... Brehmer (who's normally been the Sunday starter for the Raiders) threw a strong seven innings, just allowing UIC two earned runs on six hits. The bullpen allowed one earned run between Moores, Deboutte, and Slone (yes, the shortstop.) 3B Gray hit a two run HR and went 2 for 4 on the day, Orr went 3 for 5 to help pace Wright State's offense with 12 hits. Big chance to sweep the Flames tomorrow at 1:00! |

This was a badly needed sweep of UIC, but Milwaukee is only a half game behind with six games to go. The Raiders are 3-3 against the Panthers this season. Next game is Friday 5/3 at YSU, unless a game is added this week.

Next game is Friday 5/3 at YSU, unless a game is added this week. The one thing that I'd like to point out: Milwaukee and UIC still have one series...in Chicago. This weekend. If the Flames can take two and Wright State handles business, I'm feeling good about our chances of hosting the Tourney! |

Raiders take the series winning 9-7 today. JD Orr swiped 2 bags and set the all time Raider record for swipes in a season at 102 and counting. Raiders remain atop the league standings with a non-conference tilt Wednesday at Ohio State and will host NKU next weekend in a series we really need to dominate.
