I really hope Coach Nagy plays the bench as much of this game as possible. Malachi Smith needs experience. We cannot keep playing Cole Gentry 38 min a game.

Here's my take on this game, as I opined in another thread (schedule) it was completely idiotic to schedule this game. Totally Idiotic. With a capital I.
There was never going to be any potential upside by scheduling this opponent.
That said, since we have it, I would like to see Nagy start and play the regular non-starters most of the minutes. 1) They need the in-game experience. 2) The regular starters need the rest. 3) We can't afford an injury to a regular starter in a meaningless game.

I’m not a fan of these type of games. We do it for revenue purposes and I think that is and always has been a short sighted decision by our AD. If we have to play these games at all, I wish we would play them both at the start of the season. 1. It would help the attendance for these games. Fans are excited that the season is starting and are just happy to see some basketball and all of the new players so they are going to be more willing to stomach it. 2. The games might actually benefit the players then. Coach gets a chance to try some different line ups on the floor together. Guys get a chance to gel without much pressure and young guys should get some extended playing time. It’s also a chance to build a little confidence for your younger players. Finishing up your OOC schedule with one of these games is just plain stupid.
