14 points with 7 minutes to play...I'd say this one is over.
I'll reiterate what I said about a month ago. This team misses Jaylon Hall and Everett Winchester. Someone got on me about leadership, but we are absolutely the antithesis of an athletic team. We pass around the horn and we chuck up a 3. We absolutely miss the speed and agility of those two players. We've settled into a team that lives and dies by the three because we don't have anyone that can create a basket. Our offense is built around getting an open jump shooter, and that's a shitty way to try to win games.
We're going to be a middle third of the league team and that's only because we're generally tough at home. We are going to struggle all season against teams with athletic back courts like we did tonight. Let's hope Theielemans is the 4 star recruit 24/7 sports says he is. Brighter days ahead.

My mind is going to be blown if Manns doesn’t hit the court in these last four minutes. A lot of foul trouble and nothing to lose. Play the kid. Our defense isn’t going to take a hit because it’s already bad.

Our collective composure is beyond absent; really surprised and disappointed coach hasn't tried to teach here. I've never seen Nagy remain seated for so much of a game (although it's difficult to see on TV, of course).
