CSU has yet to win a game in conference and only has 1 division 1 home win (Niagara) on the season, but they can put up a bunch of points. Given our defensive struggles this season, we certainly need to have a more methodical mindset.
Interesting, Tyree Appleby did not play Thursday against NKU (undisclosed illness) but freshman Rashad Williams picked up right where Appleby left off dropping 23 on the Norse behind 5 3-point buckets. Appleby's status seems to be up in the air with no information being available on the Vikings board or on social media.
Either way, we can't look past this game and our defense needs to be on point. The Vikings had a decent game from behind the arc against NKU, but they too have their own defensive woes. Let's just not be the team they notch their first conference win against, because we all know they will be due sooner or later.

With our defense woes, maybe need to come out in a zone defense and change every so often. Stop doing same thing and expect different result.
