Wow, reading this is almost comical in 2019. What the heck happened? Huge misjudgment on Nagy and crew's part?

Coach has always said he wants to recruit guys that can score and that the staff can teach them to play defense. Manns can definitely score. I don't think he has seen a shot he doesn't like, lol. I wouldn't count Manns out as being a good future player for Wright State. He is only a freshman, and has plenty of time for it to click in his head that he has to make a commitment to getting better at defense and getting stronger. Both of those things are effort things, hopefully he is willing to put in the effort necessary to be a great player for us in the future.

We are 2 games away from winning our first outright league champion ever in men’s basketball. We have 9 scholarship players that aren’t redshirting and 8 of them are either starting or in our main rotation and contributing to towards that HL championship. I don’t understand why we are talking about the one guy who isn’t contributing.

You guys need to give it up. Manns has had a year and 2/3 of a season to impress Nagy enough in practice to get some playing time. It isn't going to happen if it hasn't happened by now. I doubt he even comes back next year. How would you like that crow served? Humble pie on the side? Glad to see the progress of James, and hope to see continued growth defensively.

Granted, it was more out of necessity than having earned it, but he’s stepping up when we need it. Should be lots of options with respect to rotations as the season progresses.

After 2.5 years in the system it is nice to see some return on our investment. That being said, once Wampler and Love are back I don’t see Manns getting more than mop up minutes again. His defense still isn’t good. We always knew he could shoot. That wasn’t the reason he wasn’t playing.
