Jags over Green Bay this afternoon which eliminates the Phoenix from winning the league. It is officially a two horse race, and everything has gone our way so far.
Winning out is still the goal, but there are several other clinching scenarios.
Raiders clinch the one seed by:
Scenario A: Oakland defeats UIC, WSU defeats Green Bay (7ET, 8ET respectively)
Scenario B: WSU defeats Green Bay, but UIC defeats Oakland, then WSU's easiest path is to defeat Milwaukee.
Things get extremely dicey if we lose to Green Bay AND UIC beats Oakland, as Green Bay would have the edge to the 3 seed, and that could bite us if NKU is able to beat Green Bay on Saturday (other factors at play as well).
Things would go down to the potentially the 4th, 5th, and 6th place finishers as tiebreakers for WSU and NKU if NKU wins out, we beat GB, then lose at Milwaukee and Oakland loses to UIC. As it stands now, WSU would be the one seed with the tiebreaker over NKU with the NKU loss to IUPUI being the 6th tiebreaker. Lots of sort out. Let's just win out and eliminate this entire discussion.

Even a week ago I would have seen this as a probable loss given our usual troubles in Wisconsin and the way we were playing but the team finally seems to be showing consistent offensive life. I think now I am confident that we can win both games up there and take care of business.

Super nervous tonight. 20+ years of following on how the Raiders do on the Wisconsin trip combined with no outright championships in Division 1 make this feel like a definite loss to me.
Still think we can get the 1 seed on tiebreakers though.
Gonna watch tonight and cheer hard. Go Raiders!

An Oakland win tonight requires only one Raider win to clinch the league. Hard to see this team laying two eggs in this situation.
