Our Sports Information Director retired before the start of the season. I think there are several department people filling that role in addition to their regular jobs. I agree that this would be a great thing to continue. Maybe someone in the department will see this post.

wsuraider09, here is a link to the contact information for all of the staff in the Athletics Department. I suggest you send your thoughts and concerns to someone on this list, maybe by starting with Bob Grant. wsuraiders.com/staff-directory

While you’re at it, beat the dead horse and ask who’s managing the in-game entertainment and timeout events. Heard the fight song maybe three times last night, and the band played a total of five or six times.
WSU scoring run, crowd standing and cheering into the timeout, and...we cut to a P.A. announcement or other advertisement which immediately silences the Nutter Center.
Sorry, wrong thread.

It appears the athletic department is no longer putting out highlight / recap videos out anymore. I had a meeting this evening and missed the entire game. Being away from the Dayton area gives me no ability to see highlights on WDTN or anything. Does anyone know what's up with the lack of video?

Yeah I believe we recruited him but he was an insanely sought after prospect at the time. He’s still above our caliber but after a really rocky process for him between Xavier, Cincy, and now Nebraska, maybe he’s looking to come back home. That said...don’t hold your breath

A few more of those and he'll end up on the All-Freshmen team come the end of the season. He'll need to pick up the pace to catch Amari Davis from Green Bay for FPOY, but a very solid start to what we can all hope is a great collegiate career.

Not official news, but WSU led the league in attendance through the non-conference portion of the season.
WSU 3409 NKU 2880 OAK 2776 CSU 1749 YSU 1642 UIC 1636 GB 1561 DET 1433 MKE 1292 IUP 1223
Home games only.
Raiders also had 6 of the top 10 attended games, including the 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th.
Attendance up slightly, last year's OOC average for WSU was 3354.
