Not official news, but WSU led the league in attendance through the non-conference portion of the season. WSU 3409 NKU 2880 OAK 2776 CSU 1749 YSU 1642 UIC 1636 GB 1561 DET 1433 MKE 1292 IUP 1223 Home games only. Raiders also had 6 of the top 10 attended games, including the 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th. Attendance up slightly, last year's OOC average for WSU was 3354. I guess that is good news. WSU has to keep building our fan base. Win, win and win is a good start. That will hopefully allow the Raiders to schedule better teams. |

Wright State with sets the high league attendance mark on the season drawing nearly 5500 tonight. Surpassing their game with Kent State. WSU with 7 of the top 10 highest attended
@horizonleague
games so far. CSU, NKU, Oakland all have one.
Big tilt setup tor Friday. Expect 6k+

That is a really nice article. In some ways I do truly feel that the Raiders have turned a corner in regards to expectations of success in comparison to past teams. It is clear that everyone involved, from head coach to water boy, expects to win, and when they so clearly expect to win the fans can’t help but to also. Nagy is doing great things with our basketball team. He is a gem and a class act and I hope he is around here for a long time. |
