Sorry, but you can't be player of the year if your team limps in and barely makes the conference tournament. Otherwise, the list is pretty respectable. I think Milwaukee might end up being better than 9, but the top 4 are solid.

I still think Antoine is going to be the POTY. Regardless of his teammates, the guy is still a sniper. It’s not that he just gets all the shots (which he does), but he can pull up from just inside half court it feels like and you know it’s going in.
I don’t understand how Jalen Tate is not on either of the lists. He is clearly first team in my opinion but alas, these are just totally guesses from people who don’t follow so closely I’d say. Does anyone else think NKU should not be predicted in the 2 spot? Lost their wonder boy coach, the best player in the history of their program, their only big man with any playing time whatsoever, graduated a guard. I just don’t see it, although I do think Horn is going to be a nightmare for us in the next few years with recruiting.

I have to admit I haven't been this excited about an upcoming Raider BB season in recent memory, or even a distant memory for that matter. Anything less than an NCAA Bid will seem as a disappointment right now. I realize there are 30+ games to play and things like injuries or off the court issues can raise their ugly head, but this is the deepest and most talented team I think our Raiders have ever had at the D1 level, hence my ever rising expectations. I don't think there is any game on the schedule that can be viewed as an automatic loss, so a D1 record of 26-27 wins seems to be a real possibility. I may be accused of having Hunter Green and Gold glasses on, but let's get this season started!

They are the unanimous pick to win the league. By every publication listed here. My biggest hope this year is that Love has cleaned up all of the easy misses he had last year. He is at times impossible to guard but he missed a lot of short uncontested shots, at least it seemed like it. If he can get all those easy ones he missed last year, look out. A 25-26 win season would definitely be possible. It really all goes through him. I too am excited for the upcoming season. They have the potential to be very special.
