No it wasn’t. Greensboro was ranked much higher than them Maybe not a bad loss in terms of being unexpected or causing a movement in their rankings at the end of the year, but I would have expected them to hold them closer than 17.

Just looking at real time RPI and they have Greensboro listed at 234. Net rankings might be different.

UNCG's actual RPI after yesterday is 100. Realtime RPI is complete garbage. Realtime RPI is including games that Greensboro College, a Division III school, played against Division I competition (Norfolk State, Coastal Carolina, and High Point).

So it’s messed up at real time. They need to fix that.

The NCAA selection committee uses the NET now. RPI, SAGs, KenPom, etc are a waste of time when used in discussions now. UNC-Greensboro was ranked 73 in the NET prior to playing NKU. NKU was ranked 119.

Also NKU played without 2 stars, Tate and Walton.in this game,,and they do not have the depth the Raiders have to cover losing 2 of their top 4 scorers. So I would give them a break for losing this game on the road.

Green Bay 73 Northern Kentucky 59 I'm not surprised in the slightest. NKU still not full strength. Sharpe only had 6 points. Nice win for the Phoenix.
