Below is a list of players I have enjoyed watching play in the 2010 decade. Curious who you all pick too. Looking back, we had some good talent, but usually one star with a lack of supporting cast due to talent or inexperience. Nagy is bringing in talent and freshmen ready to play.
I'm hoping 2020 and beyond will be great for WSU. Hope you all had a great holiday and a fantastic 2020. Let's go WSU!!
Starting 5 Cole Gentry Grant Benziner Vaughn Duggins Steven Davis Loudon Love
Bench Mark Alstork Cole Darling Joe Thomasson Billy Wampler Jerran Young
Honorable Mention N'Gai Evans Tanner Holden - too early but wow he looks good Biggie Minnis - always thought he was good in his brief time JT Yoho - his talent was wasted, sorry about that

Personally, I don't think Mark Alstork should even be included on this list since he left Wright State. Same reason Julius Mays should not be considered. AJ Pacher deserves to be on this list more than Cole Darling. He finished with more career points and rebounds than Cole. Miles Dixon should be on this list too. He actually had better career stats than Jerran Young. Michael Karena also had 2 productive years for us and is worthy of consideration.

Todd Brown played into 2010, right? Todd finished his career in 2009/10, which would have been in the last decade. The 2010/11 to 2019/20 season is the current decade.

Came here to ask why nobody gave any love to Cooperwood, Land, Tabler, or Gardner.
And then I checked what years those guys played, and then I realized the last decade flew by. Sheesh.

If I were trying to put together the best team, I would choose:
PG - N'Gai Evans SG - Vaughn Duggins SF - Joe Thomasson PF - JT Yoho C - Loudon Love
Bench Troy Tabler AJ Pacher Grant Benzinger Steven Davis Bill Wampler Kendall Griffin (loved his defense) Tanner Holden
I would have loved to see Tabler and Yoho in Coach Nagy's offense. I also excluded some guys who left who would have been on the list (Mays and Alstork specifically)

Frustrating end to his career. I agree on Yoho, he would have been so fun to watch with Nagy. Unfortunately he played out of position. Still so talented he could produce with poor coaching.

I would like to know your thoughts on a WSU all decade team, considering players who played from the 2010-11 season through the 2019-20 season. It is very hard to do this with a traditional lineup, but here is my attempt: PG N'Gai Evans, SG Grant Benzinger, SF Vaughn Duggins, PF J.T. Yoho, C Loudon Love.
This lineup leaves out Justin Mitchell, Cole Gentry, Mark Alstork, Steven Davis, Bill Wampler, and A. J.Pacher, plus others, but in my eyes, it would be the best lineup from the decade.
Let's see your thoughts.
