I’m glad we have a week between games. The coaches will need some time to get them settled down and prepared for Milwaukee.

I’m glad we have a week between games. The coaches will need some time to get them settled down and prepared for Milwaukee. Or, would a quick turnaround like playing Milwaukee tomorrow, for example, allow us to bring in and build on last night’s momentum? Impossible to say I guess, but for the selfish reason of not wanting to wait another week for our next game, I wouldn’t mind seeing us play Milwaukee tomorrow. In reality though, probably best to have some time to decompress a bit. I wonder if the team gets a day off after a performance like that or if they’ll still practice today?

It’s probably good that we get a week off. I feel they get a chance to get some stress off of them to get ready for the road trip. By Wednesday they will be itching to go to battle.

I'm glad that we have a week off. First off, this is an exhausting road trip. Not sure if they are bussing (thought they flew last year?), but it's the longest and furthest road trip.
We need to refocus and game plan, and get some rest. We don't need to be playing one one day's rest after that physical and high energy game.
Will be an interesting road trip, as we have never gone up there and just wiped the floor. We split more often than we sweep, and when we win, we always seem to get a ballgame.
Top 4 teams in the standings atop the league, 3 of which are expected, but Milwaukee has snuck up after they dealt YSU their first home loss of the season on Thursday.
We have a 2 day advantage on rest and game planning, but still expecting a fight in both these next two games.
Of course we control our own destiny, but this weekend could go a long way in resolving tie breakers if things get together. Green Bay already beat NKU once, and they could be poised to take a run at the #1 seed if they could sweep.
Very interesting basketball to be played.
Last time out we used our token shared scoring approach and won by 12 but relied on outside shooting (11-19). We can't expect to repeat that on the road at Panther Arena.

We have not swept the Wisconsin trip since 2012-13. We have split or been swept every year since then. Big weekend for this team coming up.

Think Neff, Nagy and Mann’s are going to get minutes in this game at the end.

Milwaukee providing free shuttles to the arena and other promotions in an attempt to fill the gym. Free pregame food, discounted beer, and free fanny packs (?) for the first 500 students.

My desire is our players will be relaxed and have a lot of fun like against Northern Kentucky. I’m sure Coach has stressed we approach the season one game at a time. We have a great coach and quality players.

Oh my gosh FANNY PACKS are gonna bring people through the doors like none other. Now it’s a true road test.
In all seriousness though, let’s hope the bench gets a lot of minutes in the second half. I’m ready for Grant to have another really big game sometime soon
