Here is Reason Numero Uno: When you write a scathing opinion piece, it's probably more effective to not start literally every section with a caveat. "Alright, this one might seem petty..." "Alright, I’ll admit this one isn’t Wright State’s fault..." "To be fair...maybe it’s not all that bad..." "Here's another petty reason..." Fantastic opinion piece there. |

This guy is the talkbox of the program on Facebook and Twitter. Just block him, he hasn't shown me the ability to have a genuine conversation about Horizon League basketball. You'd think he has been a fan of the program for 40 years, but the kid is in his mid to late 20s I would guess. I've crossed paths with him over the last few years and have simply decided that bantering with him simply isn't worth my time or energy. He thinks NKU sits on a gold throne; who am I to argue with him. |

I want to be wrong but I'll say:
NKU 72
WSU 67
I expect a very intense & competitive game but I don't think our offense will be there which will lead to a loss. If WSU is hitting from downtown I think the good guys will win...but I don't expect that to be the case.
However I'll be there to cheer for the team to try & make school history! 72 hours to go!

We weren’t exactly playing great ball in the few games leading up to our last game vs NKU. We ended up playing our most focused and complete game of the year against them. We haven’t played well the last few games. I see a similar performance coming on a Friday. Raiders win. I don’t give a crap what the score is.

We’re going to win this game handily. Quit letting past teams and past expectations dictate your feelings about present teams and present expectations. Look, we both have had a good amount of time off to recover, but our team is better coached meaning we’ll have a better game plan. Our guys will show up for this one, and so will our fans (the best fans in the league btw)

sour 3 point shot and poor rebounding is a bad night for us. If we have either one of those on the positive side I think we win.
