The whole (regular) season comes down to this game.
Wright State has a chance to make school history and win its first ever outright conference title in their Division 1 history.
Northern Kentucky has a chance to secure the 1 seed and guarantee themselves postseason play. They also can avenge a complete blowout against WSU in the Nutter Center a month ago.
It will be close but I'll pick NKU to win this game. The recent road struggles combined with trying to do something that WSU has never done in 30 years of D-1 basketball means there is no way I pick WSU to win.
I'll still be there cheering like crazy though. I'd love to see a great turnout of WSU fans!

I'm going to put my money on Wright State. My guess is that NKU is going to be favored in this game. They are going to have a big crowd at the game and they want some payback for the butt whooping we gave them at the Nutter Center. All of that in theory gives NKU the momentum going into the game. I see it having a great motivating factor for our players. Honest to god I hope they hear from everyone this week how they don't have a chance in hell to win Friday. We play better when we are pissed off and feel disrespected. The truth is NKU is going to be highly motivated to win Friday. Well guess what. So is Wright State.

This team looks tired. Glad they have six days off to rest up for the NKU game. Hope NKU gets rusty with the lay-off. Regardless of the result WSU will have nine days off before the semifinals which will hopefully get them recharged mentally & physically. |

Isn't this the same team that just lit up IUPUI by 40(!!!) and potentially the third-best team in HL by 17 on national TV? I think this has much more to do with winning conference road games than fatigue. With that said, we've got one more big conference road game left to win. NKU will be fired up, but the Raiders have played their best when the spotlight is brightest this year. Let's get the W and lock-up the 1-seed! |

Ticketmaster has section 101 and 201 as sold out,
which are the WSU sections behind the visitors bench.
I bought tix in sec. 202.
There are about 3-4 rows all around the top still available.
The WSU alumni page says they are all sold out of their package.

Glad we are going to have a nice crowd for the Raiders. I know NKU is doing whiteout. Hopefully most Raider fans will wear green to the game. I have never been there. Is the Arena Parking garage the only place to park? Is that the best place or somewhere else? |

We'll be there, proudly wearing green a few rows behind the Raider bench. We are fortunate to have a couple of great kids, who have given us tickets and a hotel room for the games at NKU as a Christmas gift the past two years.  |
