While a scholarship wasn't an option, Nagy didn't even want his son to walk on to the team if he couldn't contribute in practice. TJ was a good student and teammate in high school. Was that enough?
"I was back and forth on it," Nagy said.
TJ walked on as a freshman last year and was a pleasant surprise, working hard on his game to become a valuable member of the scout team.
