Hopefully Abby Jump gets a serious look. Balled for several years ago, she's got a strong hand in recruiting, and she was in the top 30 under 30 in the women's coaching realm.

Hopefully Abby Jump gets a serious look. Balled for several years ago, she's got a strong hand in recruiting, and she was in the top 30 under 30 in the women's coaching realm. Abby is a good young coach but I doubt she gets offered the job unless our other assistant coaches decide to follow Merriweather to Memphis. Tennille Adams is our associate head coach and has by far the most coaching experience. She works with our bigs. Ashley Barlow is our recruiting coordinator and works with our guards. |

I have no idea who Bob Grant will end up hiring but I will wager it will be a member of our current coaching staff. Our most recent hires for baseball (3-4 times now) and women's basketball have been promotions of assistant coaches. When you have a successful program with a good culture it makes sense to promote from within. |

Angel Baker is in the Transfer Portal: Ouch. By far our best player is gone, as is our best interior player in Frierson. Add that to Merriweather's departure... the new coach will need to retool and reload quickly. |
