This weekend is big for us. UIC tends to be our kryptonite. We need to bring our A game for a full 40 minutes both games.

This weekend is big for us. UIC tends to be our kryptonite. We need to bring our A game for a full 40 minutes both games. I watched them play early in the season, not sure who it was. I saw the first game of the Youngstown series which they won at the buzzer. Youngstown let them hang around and missed a lot of free throws in the second half. They are long which has always seemed to give us trouble. The difference with this group is they have muscle and weight to go with the length. They don’t play real smart and foul trouble is a factor. We should win if we play our game but it may not be easy.. |

UIC has a new coaching staff and the roster is quite a bit different, so I'm hoping the kryptonite days are over. Definitely need to bring the A game the rest of the way. Every team left on the schedule is in contention for one of the top 4 seeds for the conference tourney.

The Raiders Kryptonite is usuall self indued. Its turnovers. When they take care of the ball, and play Tenacious D, they literally crush their HL opponents. But I know how UIC has given our guys fits the last few years. They can break that curse this weekend. And now I'm waiting on a Thumbs up from Jack Black!🤣

That's my concern, along with the Friday night and being big favorites. Oh well, game time boys! |
