We are also ranked ahead of NC state who we play in our OOC schedule this year.

Even with his super star son on the roster, I don't see Pat Baldwin making that kind of jump. I expect the same situation we saw in Detroit with the Davis gang. Baldwin can ball, but he'll be head and shoulders better than his teammates. Teams make other guys beat you, and we know that didn't happen efficiently in Detroit, and I'm speculating it won't happen efficiently in Milwaukee. Not to mention that Pat Baldwin has effectively proven nothing in his tenure at Milwaukee. He simply doesn't coach winning teams. 4 seasons with a 40% winning clip, less than that in league play...I'm not buying it.

I agree. Even DeAndre Gholston replicating the season he had last year on top of PBJ jointing their team I don’t think will be enough to crack the top 4. We could both be wrong obviously, but just look at the talent IUPUI had the last 3 years with Burke,Minnett, and Goss. Those 3 were all absolute ballers but they had no help from their teammates, and their coaches only made it worse. I see the same thing with Milwaukee. I could see top 1-2 for them if Te’Jon Lucas stayed though.

I’m frankly very surprised Detroit isn’t getting more consideration in these polls and predictions. They were the team I was most scared of going into the league tourney last year and I know I wasn’t alone.
Davis was doing everything alone to start the season and they went 1-7. Then they took their sabbatical and came back with a healthy Waterman on the roster. He made them a completely different team by stretching the floor and they rattled off an 11-3 record including a one-point loss to NKU in the tourney.
All their key players are back. I’ve got the tied with us as preseason favorite.

We lose our leader in both categories and a multi-time POY and are still at the top of everything I’ve seen. They’ve lost less than us and are considered middle of the pack. Am I missing anything else besides Kuol here? Honest question.
