Lake Erie dropped their opener to NKU last week by only 11. NKU saw 11 players on the court working on different rotations and combinations, while Lake Erie only had 6 players in double digit minutes. The Storm had a few leads early, but NKU really controlled the game in the second half, leading by up to 20 with 13' to play.
I certainly expect we will be doing the same tonight. Working on our rotation, seeing who plays well in live game action. I'm especially curious to see how CJ looks in rotation, and if he gets any significant playing time with Grant. After hearing the "eye opening" comments from the scrimmages, it certainly gives pause knowing that we're Love-less now, but coach is one of our biggest critics, so I'm hopeful that tonight gives Nagy more positive encouragement.
