Holden is clearly playing hurt and is not able to be effective. We don't have anyone else that can pick up the slack. Coach needs to make some hard decisions this off season and get some players to move on so he can bring in some players that can contribute at this level. You cannot have 5 scholarship players contribute nothing and expect to have any kind of success.

When are we ever going to learn how to play against a zone defense. Mental lapses when we go inside and the double team comes in and we lose our minds. Plus if we can’t play defense one on one physically against a teams players when do we we play some sort of zone defense? I see glimpses of the coaches recognizing that Norris needs some help on defense when the player is backing him down to the basket.

6-0 to end the half. Maybe that gets us going? The defense on the perimeter has been good, but they've been bullying Braun and Wilbourn around inside. I know I'm beating a dead horse, but we could consider changing defenses.
The first four minutes are going to be the tell for us. Are we going to come out and respond and defend our home court or are we going to roll over and continue to get pushed around inside? Do we want a bye, or don't we?

Do we want a bye, or don't we? Even if we somehow get our shit together and win today you are being delusional if you think we aren't going to lose at least 1 other game this year. This team has too many glaring weaknesses. |
