Cleveland State had the ball down 2 and crumbled. Gomillion tried to call timeout but it appeared he had already lost possession. Dennis Gates blew a cork, lost his facemask, and was lucky to avoid a technical. Gomillion should have called the TO and get their very best play called with 5 seconds to play, but as such, the Vikes are the first HL team to fall in postseason play.

In The Basketball Classic, YSU opens with Morgan State and Detroit opens with FGCU. Just based on the matchups, Youngstown should win and an average Detroit performance will hand them a loss. Both games are tomorrow.
In the CBI, PFW opens at Drake and are 10 point road underdogs.

YSU will play at Wofford tomorrow at 7pm in the second round of The Basketball Classic.
Scratch that. The game has been canceled. YSU is waiting to hear about their next opponent.
Apparently Wofford has withdrawn.
