Chris Beard has been fired for cause this afternoon. This stems from his arrest and charge in the domestic dispute from December. He was fired for cause so Texas does not plan on paying out the salary.

Green Bay should look at Linc Darner  . Per a tweet from Jeff Goodman, UWGB is still paying Linc and now Will Ryan to not coach the Phoenix. Could make it difficult to attract a good coach when you are paying 2 previous ones. |

There's some that think Holtman at Ohio State should be let go, but sounds like he'll stay on due to his contract.

Austin Peay has fired Nate James after 2 seasons. James went 21-39 in his two seasons with the Govs. This year they were 9-22. They are currently building a new arena. Prior to AP, James was an assistant at Duke 13 years under Coack K and played for Coach K at Duke as well.

I have seen some lists with Jerrod Calhoun connected to this job. This would be a significant upgrade in salary from YSU. |

Boy that will be interesting to see who takes over at Syracuse, you'd think that would be a pretty desirable position for some big names.
