We are 22 games into the season and Norris just took his first FTs of the season. I don’t know how that is even possible for a PG.

This game isn't over yet but regardless of what happens WSU will be a dark horse in the conference tournament. Inconsistency is a lot of what WSU deals with.

The first half was one of our best defensive halves all season. Give Milwaukee credit, they came at us aggressively in the second half and scratched and clawed, just like they seem to do every time we play them.
Take every win we can get, but this team continues to have significant inconsistency on both ends of the court. I would never have guessed Alex would be the stud tonight, but after Noel ate Milwaukee up last time out, they certainly figured him out tonight.
I wish we'd turn the page so to speak, but it seems like we just never know which team is going to show up and if anyone will step up to to for double their average. We've knocked down the first place team twice in a month, but we've lost some dreadful games this month too, so again, nobody knows what this team is or what we will have come this time next month. For this team, every win is a good win.

If you had no interest in either team, that would have been an entertaining game to watch. I'm so glad we won. The first half was awesome (sloppy, but awesome) -- the second half was painful! The refs kept the fans in the game tonight..not sure of the attendance, but the atmosphere was pretty good! Was great to see Alex and Andrew have great games tonight.

Great win...someone mentioned WSU as a dark horse in the HL tourney. Depending on seeding and matchups, they could really do harm. Just greate seeing Welage and Huibregtse get their chance tonight to shine. Both have appeared to be very patient and seem like great teammates, so hopefully they still get this level of PT and can get into a rhythm.

But someone on the Milwaukee board called us out for the attendance looking bad (on a cheap beer night) while they've only eclipsed 2k twice on the season.  |
