Green Bay is awful, but they did keep the game close against NKU on Thursday. They looked like a D3 team tonight. Hopefully this was a good sign for defensive improvements.
It was great to see so many minutes (27) from Welage. He continues to impress each game, and I'm looking forward to him being a starter next season.

Attendance was 5418. Almost 1000 more than our highest on the season (4488 vs Detroit). That's the highest attended conference game in the HL so far this season. Great to see a good crowd -- was pleasantly surprised when we arrived and had to park in the gravel lot across the street from the pond...my only gripe about that is the lack of sidewalks in that area (on either side of the road)...lovely walking/squishing your way on a cow path, unless you want to get yelled at by a parking attendant to get out of the road...ask me how I know! |

I was wondering during the game what all has happened at GB. Fired coach, 9 players dressed for this game, obviously bad coaching and recruiting? Sad for a once great basketball school.
