We are favored by 17.5 points. I am looking forward to Tanner getting his confidence back and playing up to his ability.

Glad we are getting the calls tonight for the most part. This is one sorry bunch of refs on the court tonight.

Much better game overall from our Raiders tonight. IUPUI is horrible

At the under 4 timeout in the first half I commented that we only had 2 turnovers and had committed only 2 fouls, and had given up only 18 points. Seemed like we might hold IUPUI under 50. I Must have jinxed them:
-- 3 turnovers in those last 4 minutes, though only 8 for the game is much better. -- Foul parade then began, and continued throughout the 2nd half. 21 total is way too many. -- And gave up 10 points those last 4 minutes, then 46 more in the 2nd half.
Still a good win, but Coach Nagy will have a lot to discuss.

Some of my thoughts after this game: 1. Good to see Tanner have a nice offensive game 2. Good to see Noel have a good offensive game, although seemed to take a little while to get it going 3. I would like to see AJ be stronger with the ball -- had one literally taken out of his hands tonight 4. Defense slacked off the second half (as is obvious from the box score)...maybe consequence of the big lead and lack of attention (I'm sure Nagy will not be pleased) 5. Our rebounding helped us offset the disparity in foul shots -- many missed and/or phantom calls by the refs tonight 6. Drey Carter had a nice game 7. Trey had a fairly quiet night, but still came away with 15 points

Last night we saw a lot of good things from our team vs a really bad IUPUI team so itβs hard to say if we were playing better or if it was just crappy competition. I think it was a good step in the right direction and hope to see continued progress with the remainder of our OOC schedule. Go Raiders!

I was pretty happy with this game. You got to pound the crappy teams and keep your foot on their throat. All gas, no brakes and that is what the Raiders did. When the bench players got on the court, they keep the point spread above 25. I think this Raider team is starting to clean up some of the problems from earlier in the year.
I was in town (Cincy) and was able to make it to the game. There were probably 2500-2800 people in attendance. If this team gets on a roll, maybe we can see some crowds of over 4000 after the first of the year.

I was very happy to see Tanner looking more comfortable on the court. Our offense was much improved because it wasnβt directed for any particular player. That meant the defense of IUPUI, which seemed be geared toward keeping Trey contained worked but other players were scoring. I now look forward to watching Meyer get more PT and producing. This team has a lot of potential because we have more players who will produce both offensively and defensively. Saturday will be a good game to watch.

One final observation from the game...the "light show" on the Raiders App isn't very impressive with a small crowd.

The light show is even less impressive at the women's games...

Winning the games youβre supposed to the way youβre supposed to is always good.
It was nice to see James Manns and Andy Neff in attendance.
