After some research I have concluded this is the Bethel College in Northern Indiana. There are several schools with the name Bethel. They are 7-2.

Are you sure it's not Bethel HS? Not much difference in my opinion. What a complete joke of a game. This game might actually be better than some of our HL games this year. I still think we dominate the game, but they have a puncher's chance with their offense and the way our defense has played. I would have liked to have seen this as an opening game warmup before we played Colorado State. But it might be an entertaining game the way both teams score. The Bethel Pilots (7-2) are a NAIA D1 NCCAA (National Christian College Athletic Assoc) Team, and have won 3 NAIA National Championships and 5 additional NCCAA National Championships including one last year. Their starting lineup is typically 6'8", 6'8" 6'7", 6'6" or 6'4" and 6'1". For a small school team, they are not small in size, especially in their starting lineup, but I do not know anything about their athleticism. They average 89.2/game (18th in NAIA D1 and have topped 100pts 3 times) and shoot 51.5%, 34.6% from 3 so it should give our defense some good competition to work out some kinks against, and the Raiders need the work. Really don't care what they do in their league, they aren't d1. This should not be remotely close.

Bethel is a little better than a lot of Raider fans thought. The Raiders are still trying to work through their problems. I sure hope WSU pulls ahead and puts this one away.

How do you motivate a bunch of d 1 players to play an naia team. This annual scheduling of these kind of teams hurt our team and hurt our program. Somebody needs to put a stop to it.
Credit to bethel. At least on their schedule they are honest enough to call this game what it is….. an exhibition game.
