Starting a new thread concerning a Wright State Trivia Question posted on this board Tuesday night after the Raiders game vs Miami Ohio. Think the question was what was the single game high in points scored at home by a Wright State Player in the last fifteen years. I have a guess, have to assume not from BB days, because team only scored 50 points a game, and most likely not from Donlon days when the team scored around 40 points per game. Must be from the Nagy era, pretty sure none of the current players did it, so have to go with either Mark Hughes or Billy Wampler, if I can only pick one, going with Billy (Or maybe one of the baseball children, Troy Tabler or Grant Benzinger). Anyone have the answer? Searched the web, but that was no help.

I'm going to re-post my guess that it was one of the Grant B's, either Basile or Benzinger.

Well I know I saw the game since I haven't missed a home game since 1983 (not counting the COVID year). After awhile, they all seem to run together.
I'm going to guess Thurgood Marshall's Mark Alstork in Nagy's first year coaching here. Mark was a volume shooter, and led the nation in scoring in the first month of the year, so I think it was one of the early games that year.
EDIT: I just looked up that year and Mark had 39 points against Toledo (11/19/16) at the Nutter Center, in the third game of the year. Trey Calvin had 37 last year in the overtime loss to Davidson, so I think that is probably 2nd on the list.

bballraider is correct! Mark Alstork's 39 is the most at the Nutter Center in the last 15 seasons. 6 points off of Bill Edwards' all time record of 45.
(The logic was there oldschooll)

Alstork was a baller and another cautionary tale of how the grass is not always greener on the other side.

Was thinking of adding the name of Julius Mays to the mix if the correct answer had not been provided. Enjoyed the Raider trivia.

Calvin's 37 last year was mu first thought, but after more thought I would have guessed Benzinger or Vaughn Duggins. Benzinger the game he single handedly buried NKU. Duggins my memory is fuzzy, but I think it was either Butler or Valpo.
