I am optomistic about this team and season. But I do believe we need to play zone at times and use full court press at times. When your play on defense or offense is predicable the opponent can have a good answer. We also need to play 9-10 players and up tempo. Do I expect that from Nagy, NO.

Brown needs to play and get the experience. He will be point guard next year.

Today is a golden opportunity for the Raiders to start showing much needed signs of life defensively.
WSU has allowed 8 of their 10 D-I opponents to shoot 49% or better. 2nd worst in the country (Toledo, 9)
But...that is where Green Bay comes in.
They have shot above 49% vs D-I teams once this season and that is tied for the fewest in the country.

GB strategy to rough up our bigs. So far not a lot of calls down low. Refs letting them get away with bumping us left and right. Raider need to match that energy.

Alex is getting exposed out there my goodness He had kk wide open for a 3 but instead decided to shoot a long contested two. He's a classic Nagy player. Getting so old seeing roster spots burned and guys playing that should be sitting. |
