Looking on my phone and it says that on Thursday, February 1 2024, there is a college basketball game at 9:00 PM featuring our Wright State Raiders. The Penguins try for a fourth straight win over the Raiders on ESPNU.

7'3" Gabe Dynes played a major role the last time these teams faced off with 6 blocks & 7 rebounds. He is questionable today due to a small hand fracture suffered in their Jan. 17 game at Oakland. @neelmadhavan has been posting updates on "twitter" and is likely our best source for Dynes' status.

Langdon a couple of early uncharacterisitc 3's. Shoots under 25% this season and under 28% in his career.
Calvin went right back at him and got the And-1. Fun to see personal rivalries, almost non-existant any more in college basketball.

And losing 31-30 with 7:40 left in the first half.

Horrible 2nd foul call on Noel.
WSU 20 points in the paint in the first 17 minutes. Only had 28 the whole game in the 1st meeting. Dynes being out is huge

I have followed raider roundball since they became div I and this may be the worst raider rebounding team of the entire time. They stand flat footed while the other team aggressively goes for the ball. Rebounding is 50% desire and we seem to lack that 50%. Makes it tough to win games.

Yes, Keith. It has been lackluster of late. Assuming YSU grabs 2 more in the 2nd half it will be the 8th time in the last 11 games WSU has allowed 10+ offensive rebounds.
In their first 13 games that only happened twice.

I know we have some really big guys coming in next season but I hope they are more athletic than our big guys now. I also hope they have a “rebounders mentality “. We are lacking both of those right now.
